General Manager performs his/her duties in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Zones Law No. 4737 and the relevant legislation. General Manager is the head of the Management Inc. personnel.

General Manager is authorized to make all necessary decisions and to carry out all procedures in order to fulfill the duties specified in the Law, regulations and directives, and to make all necessary expenditures within the limits determined by the Board of Directors.

Duties of General Manager
  • Ensuring that the units under his/her control within the Management Inc. organization operate efficiently, regularly and harmoniously,
  • Carrying out the correspondence of Management Inc.,
  • Ensuring that personnel files are kept and stored on a regular basis,
  • Making recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the establishment of New Units and changes in the organizational chart,
  • Taking measures regarding Zonal Security,
  • Carrying out reception, visit and other protocol services within the framework of the authority granted by the Board of Directors,
  • Having the guidelines needed by the Zone prepared, examining and submitting them for approval by the competent bodies, and putting them into implementation.
  • Carrying out the necessary activities on the issues on which information is requested by the Public Institutions and presenting them to the Board of Directors,
  • Ensuring the preparation and execution of the strategic planning activities of the Zone,
  • Ensuring the functioning of the appreciation and warning mechanism,
  • Ensuring the development of the corporate memory of the Zone,
  • And performing other duties assigned by the Board of Directors.

Some of the General Manager’s authority may be delegated to other personnel upon the General Manager’s recommendation and the Decision of the Board of Directors .
